These stone walls were built in winter 2019-2020 for a property consisting of a main house and a rental unit built into a slope in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The large blocks of stone made for a more affordable construction than smaller stones, yet provide excellent retaining function with an artistic vibe. Drill marks were intentionally left in some stones for an aesthetic flourish.
